Step 1: Connect your phone to your computer via USB.
Step 2: Select MIDI in USB Configuration of your phone
Tap the “USB for charging” notification and select MIDI.
Note: MIDI is only available in Android 6 and above .
If your Android phone is version 6 and above but you still do not see the MIDI option, you will have to enable it by turning on developer options in your phone. See how to enable developer option.
Step 3: Turn on the App
The app should show the status as “connected and ready to send messages”.Step 4: Open the controller settings of your DAW (or any valid MIDI Receiver)
Your phone should now show as a selectable MIDI device. Select it and now your DAW is configured to receive MIDI
Your Android phone is now ready to send MIDI commands !
